Overview
At the entrance of the village of Maltezana, this traditional coffee shop (or Kafeneio, in Greek) is a perfect place to enjoy a coffee after swimming or before visiting the village or the archaeological site of Talara. The environment is very friendly and the atmosphere reminds something from the old times watching the traditional items and the old photos hanging on the walls.
You can play a game of backgammon with friends, drinking tsipouro, ouzo or cold beers and enjoying handmade rusks, octopus and shrimps.
At noon or in the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to taste the local cuisine prepared with local products, very good wine and excellent raki or ouzo.
Some nights, local musicians can play for you while enjoying your drink.
